Freddie's: Wings, Oysters, Steak

Hey everybody, this is Neil again with Tall Boy Marketing with another episode of "We're Eating That." And, today we're a little bit outside of Manchester, Tennessee — or right inside the city limits of Manchester, Tennessee — at a place called Freddie's.

Joey got blown up with a handful of folks when he started asking for where we should eat down here. They got oysters, they got steak. It's a mid-day on a weekday, so I'm going steak. So, I ordered the 12-ounce ribeye. Let's get in here. It's phenomenal. Great steak.

We had to ask 'em whenever we got here like, "Do y'all have steaks right now?" They're like, uh, we cut them to order. So, definitely worth the drive for that.

Got a little bit of sides. Any good steakhouse that has got even better sides, it's to the point where you ask yourself like, "I'm gonna just come here for the sides." I would come here for the sides. Beer battered onion rings, they have beer battered fries (they're phenomenal), best part is they do all their different dipping sauces in house. So, we've got the "suicide" here (really good heat to it). Sorry, I got a little ranch mixed in there because that's the way I'm rolling today. The perfect amount of heat. You can't beat it. We also have a honey garlic here. We have a kind of like a ginger bourbon here and they make their own ranch. Everybody's got ranch, but not everybody makes their own ranch. Kind of a big deal. And, they even make their own blue cheese.

So, if you get a chance to get down here in Manchester and look up Freddie's ... one for their steaks and two the onion rings are worth the drive. I know, I'm sorry I'm reaching an age in my life where vegetables are worth the drive. Onion rings, the fries here and definitely the wings are killer, so thanks again for checking it out.
